Ray and his beautiful wife Cheryl have 3 children ages 27, 30, and 41. Ray began working in the pool industry with a friend (whom would later be become his brother in law) when he was in high school,  as a summer job vacuuming pools. After Ray graduated from high school he moved to California, attended college and began working for another pool company building pools.

While still residing in California, Ray opened a  business which started as a small sub-contracting company and evolved into a formidable competitor in the northern California market – Paradise Pool and Spa. He featured both custom block wall vinyl and custom gunite swimming pools. After getting married to Cheryl, he returned to New York and continued working in the pool industry. Ray began his employment at Haven Pools in 1997! He was hired to be a service technician but quickly became the service manager within his first year of employment with Haven.

Today you will find Ray on construction jobs, servicing your pool and in the office purchasing and training employees. By attending an abundance of technical seminars throughout the year he stays current and up to date on the vast knowledge he has. Ray is always available to answer questions and solve problem that employees and customer might have. Ray enjoys having been part of the haven family these past 26 years and the comradery we all share.

“One of the best things about Ray is his warm demeanor in the morning and that you can always hear him coming because he is constantly whistling!” – Patrick
