An attendee of Suffolk Community College and certified by the International Pool Sales Institute, Doug has been in the swimming pool industry for over 22 years and with Haven Pools since 2014. As a husband and father to three children, Doug is proud to work with the Bonawandt’s in their third-generation family business and enjoys the comradery of the Haven team. When he’s not spending time at home, he loves spending time outdoors skiing, riding motorcross, or boating, and brings that enthusiasm to work.
As Sales Manager, Doug is responsible for acquiring new business. Between his friendly demeanor, broad knowledge and expertise, Doug sets potential clients at ease, answers their questions, and makes everyone feel like a part of the Haven Pools family.
Doug’s mentorship doesn’t stop when the contract is signed though, since he always makes himself available to his clients and makes their happiness his first priority. With an eye for design, one of Doug’s favorite parts of the job is helping people turn their backyards into their own personal oasis.
